Individualized Instruction - At Creative Kids we believe that children are individuals; therefore, to optimize their growth, it is imperative that each child's curriculum be designed specifically for them.
Arts Integrated - Research has proven that children whose education is rich in the arts from an early age experience greater academic success - success that is long term and far reaching. And there's more. Our curriculum cultivates language skills, physical development skills, social skills, and mathematical ability - skills that are abundant in music, dance, and theatre. Creative Kids students receive a comprehensive arts education in music, dance, and theatre taught by highly skilled professionals in their respective fields. Additional arts classes are available through our extended day program.
Ongoing Assessments - Defining where each child is developmentally is central to our ability to create the best learning plan for him or her. Each child's assessment team is comprised of his or her parents, school directors, preschool faculty, and the arts faculty. An assessment meeting with parents and directors is held before the start of the school year; additional conferences are scheduled mid year, at the end of the year, and at the request of parents or teachers.
Multiple Intelligences - The Creative Kids curriculum is based upon recent research from Project Zero at Harvard University. It provides our faculty powerful tools for better understanding each child’s learning style while assessing strengths and areas that require development.
Life Skills – Healthy emotional and social development are the core goals of our curriculum, and building self respect and confidence in each child is our highest priority. We promote positive communication through words and actions between peers and with adults through modeling and open discussion in negotiating, conflict resolution, self- expression, and building friendships.
Multi-Aged Grouping for ages 3 to 6 - At Creative Kids we believe that children are fundamentally and delightfully unique and thus require an education that respects and honors their individuality. Multi-age grouping gives us the flexibility to respond to each child’s individual needs; therefore, each child can grow and learn at their own pace in each area of development - cognitive, social, emotional, and physical.

Kulture for Kids is a series of cultural performances designed to expose young audiences to a variety of music, dance, and theatre by BYPC faculty and students. These performances include classical piano concerts, a string concert, a jazz performance, opera selections, dance performances, puppet shows, interactive theater, and others. All Creative Kids students enjoy a monthly performance as part of their school day.
