INFANT TO TODDLER KINDERMUSIK

Our mixed-age classes are perfect for families who wish to bring two or more children of different ages to the same class, or for parents who simply prefer a mixed-age setting for their child. These classes allow infants through toddlers—and their caregivers—to gather together for a fun-filled learning experience. Your Kindermusik educator will help you modify movement activities, group dances, and instrument-play activities for each of your children. Mixed-age classes offer the perfect setting for weekly family bonding time and inspire ideas for more music exploration, play, and fun at home. Tuition includes music and materials.

1 year old

An energetic and joyful celebration of the very young child's new movement and language skills for children 0-24 months. These 45-minute classes offer a mix of parent-child joint activities and children-only activities, giving you the opportunity to participate in all the music-and-movement fun, but also to stand back, observe, and revel in how your child is beginning to walk, talk, sing, play, clap, tap, and dance - all on their own! Tuition includes all music and materials.

2 Year old

Batten down the hatches your baby is now a toddler. There is an explosion of language, movement, and curiosity of - everything. It is prime time for learning and your Kindermusik class provides the blueprint. From language to math development, from social to emotional development, and from gross motor skills to coordination you will marvel as your child sings, drums, and dances patterns and rhythms crafted to nurture her learning potential through this program specifically designed for your toddler and you. Imagine that - your child is now a preschooler. Your preschooler’s brain is wired to learn, to spark creativity, and to seed imagination through quality experiences and your Kindermusik class is just that. Your preschooler will be challenged to make inventive choices, to master rhythm patterns, to build literacy skills, to enhance visual and auditory discrimination and to cultivate creative thinking. It is the perfect time to bolster that buddy list as your preschooler learns about team work and friendship building. And at BYPC those friendships just may last a lifetime. Instrument Prep 5-6 Year Old and 6 -7 Year Old

This small group class is perfect for the buddy musician wanting to discover the perfect instrument for them. In this class your budding musician will build the foundational skills necessary to enjoy a lifetime of music. Our innovative curriculum balances playful and imaginative activities with theory and technique in a manner that is responsive to your child’s cognitive stage and learning style. Your future virtuoso will tune their skills and musical prowess on the percussion and rhythm instruments, glockenspiel, recorder, and dulcimer preparing them to tickle those ivories or strum that guitar in a style that is all their own. Tuition includes all music and materials.
