BYPC Music: Classes

Individual music lessons are offered in:

• Piano
• Guitar
• Drums & Percussion
• Strings
• Voice
• Woodwinds

Classes are taught in private studios with degreed, experienced instructors who provide encouragement and support to each student.

Group Music Lessons:

In addition to individual music instruction, we offer an array of group classes such as Voice, Rock Band, Jazz Ensemble and even Musikgarten for your start-up musician! View music schedule here.

Here are just some of our music class options:

String Ensemble – Students will learn to play string instruments in an ensemble setting. Class will focus on pitch, intonation, tempo, dynamics and reading music. Students should have at least one year experience on their instrument. Instruments include: violin, viola and cello. By invitation.

Adult Band – For adults who want to take their musicianship to the next level and collaborate with fellow aspiring musicians. Giving consideration for busy schedules and musical experience, the focus is on easy to moderate level standards in the pop, rock and blues genres. Band positions available: guitar, bass guitar, drums, keyboards, vocals and saxophone.

Musikgarten – Engaging children and their families in singing and movement activities to help attune the ear, refine the voice, and develop a rhythmic body through which music can be expressed. Instrumental activities such as playing simple rhythm instruments with sticks and drums for babies and toddlers are part of the program.
