Theatre Jazz Classes at BYPC
Much like jazz, but more stylized for theatrical performances, theatre jazz widens a students understanding of traditional dance movements and pairs it with an ability to tell a story on stage. Inspired by legendary directors, producers, and choreographers that worked on broadway stages and in the film industry, students in these theatrical jazz classes at BYPC build upon their dance and theatre training as well as upon their knowledge of performing arts history and the influences that lead to this style of dance.
