BYPC is excited to be offering a new lesson format for piano and voice students this fall. This program has been designed around 45 and 60 minute lessons that will not only benefit students who have shown a significant progression over the past year and employ solid practice habits at home, but all students who are excited to take their music lessons “to the next level”

Built upon the BYPC's music program’s solid foundation these enhanced 45-60 minute lessons will include:

• An increased focus on the fundamentals of technique and artistry
• Integration of technology and engaging Apps for note reading, practice strategies, ear training, notation and recording
• The opportunity to work on more than one piece of music on a regular basis and the ability to explore a variety of music genres and styles
• A deepening in the understanding and practical use of music theory
• An online communication tool for weekly assignments, assessment and progress
• The invitation to participate in two workshops during the school year
• The opportunity to enroll in Composers Club with Jeff Davison
