Instrumental Ensembles at BYPC
Musicians who've excelled in their previous individual music lessons should consider exploring how music comes together in an ensemble of different musical instruments and vocals. Most popular among musicians eager to grow their performing skills are BYPC's Rock Bands and Jazz / Blues Combo; however, various other ensembles and orchestras are formed when in demand. These Bedford, NH ensembles classes focus on pitch, intonation, tempo, dynamics, and reading music. Students should have at least one year experience on their instrument, and all ensembles require audition or placement. Anyone is welcome to request to join these fun group music classes in Bedford, NH, and if they aren't quite ready, BYPC can guide them to the correct classes or lessons that prepare them for future ensemble placements.
BYPC Rock Bands
The ultimate way to showcase high-energy music and talent is by performing with a real rock band. BYPC's Rock Band programs provides exactly this type of positive and fun outlet for experienced musicians. Split into age-specific levels, BYPC's Rock Bands allow students to learn what it's like to play with a group where they must be aware of and work with band members who contribute different instrumental and vocal skills. With plenty of performance opportunities, these rock stars learn the full cycle of a rock band from rehearsals to live-audience shows.

Adult Rock Band
BYPC's Adult Rock Band is the perfect way for adults to take their musicianship to the next level and collaborate with fellow aspiring musicians. Giving consideration for busy schedules and musical experience, the focus is on easy to moderate level standards in the pop, rock and blues genres. Band positions available are for guitar, bass guitar, drums, keyboards, vocals, and saxophone. One hour prep time per week is recommended.

Jazz / Blues Combo
BYPC’s Jazz/Blues Combo is a small ensemble for intermediate to advanced music students. Comprised of guitar, bass, keyboard, drums, and winds, the repertoire includes Jazz standards and American Blues. Students read from charts as well as work on their improvising skills. Our Jazz/Blues Combo band often performs outside gigs for BYPC nonprofit partners.
