“We love everything about BYPC! The teachers have always treated the girls like family and that’s exactly how it feels to be part of this community. The teachers are patient, knowledgeable and most importantly, act as positive role models for my children. At BYPC, there is a beautiful balance of instilling confidence in their art without compromising joy.”

At BYPC, we celebrate self-expression — especially for our youngest dancers. Preschool Dance students are welcome to wear whatever makes them feel happy and ready to move. For Youth and Teen Dance, we ask that students wear form-fitting clothing so that educators can best observe alignment and technique. For all levels, appropriate dance shoes are required — please reach out to our front desk if you have any questions about what to wear for your specific class.
-
Yes — every spring we celebrate our students at our Annual Year End Show, typically held at the end of May or beginning of June. All costume and production fees are included in your tuition so there are no surprises. Tickets for family and friends are available for purchase separately. Participation is not mandatory, but we highly encourage it — it is one of the most memorable experiences of the year for our students and families alike.
-
In dance, watching is learning too. If your child is feeling tentative, we welcome them to observe at first — taking in the class at their own pace until they feel ready to join in. Our educators are skilled at gently drawing students in, and we have a wonderful track record of even the most hesitant dancers finding their footing and never looking back.
-
Dance classes do not have a makeup option, so we highly encourage regular attendance whenever possible — consistency is key to your child's growth and progress as a dancer. That said, we understand that life happens. If you know you'll be missing a class, we simply ask that you let your teacher know.
-
We make weather-related decisions as early as possible so that families have as much notice as we can give. Cancellations are announced via email, social media, our website and on WMUR. Make-up options will always be offered for weather cancellations — we will be in touch to schedule.
“What has kept my family at BYPC for over 13 years is the sense of community. We have been very happy with the quality of music, dance and theater training our 3 kids have received, but we are most impressed that every teacher cares overwhelmingly for the wellbeing of the whole child.”
