Youth Theatre
Ages 6-11Acting, Singing & Dancing: It All Starts Here
Welcome to a world where imagination takes center stage! Our youth theater program is designed to help your child discover their voice and confidence through a dynamic mix of acting, singing, and dancing. In these exciting classes, they'll build foundational skills in vocal technique and choreography, learning how to weave them together to create engaging and entertaining characters. Your young performer will dive into the magic of the stage, exploring everything from staging and costuming to captivating an audience with their unique talent.
Every child has a story worth telling.
At BYPC, our theatre educators create a warm and joyful space where young performers discover the magic of acting, singing and musical theatre — guided by passionate educators who know how to bring out the best in every child. Beyond the stage, your child will develop confidence, teamwork and a creative voice that will stay with them long after the curtain falls.

Comfortable, movable clothing is all your child needs. There is no dress code in youth theatre — we want every student to feel like themselves the moment they walk through the door. The only requirement is comfortable shoes suitable for movement. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out to our front desk.

Yes — our students perform throughout the year! Performance students participate in our Annual Year End Show alongside our dance students, typically held at the end of May or beginning of June. Acting students perform their own showcase in late May or early June. Both Acting and Performance students also take the stage at our mid-year showcase in January. These performances are a highlight of the year — a chance for your child to share their growth and shine in front of the people who matter most.

Youth Theatre classes do not have a guaranteed makeup option, so we highly encourage regular attendance whenever possible — consistency is key to your child's growth and confidence as a performer. That said, we understand that life happens. If a class of the same or lower level has availability, a makeup may be offered pending teacher approval. If you know you'll be missing a class, we simply ask that you let your teacher know.

We make weather-related decisions as early as possible so that families have as much notice as we can give. Cancellations are announced via email, social media, our website and on WMUR. Make-up options will always be offered for weather cancellations — we will be in touch to schedule.
“What we like most about BYPC is the focus on the whole child. My children are not only learning how to sing, dance, and perform but they are also learning some sneaky math (while learning to read music) and how to be good community members.”
