Teen Theatre
Ages 12-18Acting, Singing & Dancing: It All Starts Here
Welcome to a program where your passion for performance takes center stage! Our teen theatre classes are a dynamic space for you to refine your skills in acting, singing, and dancing, all while collaborating with peers who share your drive. You'll master vocal technique, intricate choreography, and powerful character development, learning how to bring stories to life in a way that truly connects with an audience. This is where you'll hone your craft, build confidence, and discover the full potential of your stage presence.
This is where young performers find out what they're made of.
At BYPC, our theatre educators create a challenging and deeply rewarding space where young performers develop real skills in acting, singing and musical theatre — guided by industry professionals who are as invested in the growth of the whole person as they are in the craft. Beyond the stage, your teen will build confidence, discipline and a creative voice that will serve them for the rest of their life.

“BYPC is an outstanding youth performing arts company and school that gives everything they can to create excellent performers and people. I would not be where I am today without the love and support I got from the wonderful staff and people at BYPC. And now I’m heading off to one of the best drama schools in the world and it all started here. 5 stars for the school that creates stars both in theatre and in life.”

Comfortable, movable clothing is all your teen needs. There is no dress code in teen theatre — we want every student to feel like themselves the moment they walk through the door. The only requirement is comfortable shoes suitable for movement. Performance students are required to wear black jazz shoes. If you have any questions about footwear or attire, don't hesitate to reach out to our front desk.
-
Yes — our students perform throughout the year! Performance students participate in our Annual Year End Show alongside our dance students, typically held at the end of May or beginning of June. Acting students perform their own showcase in late May or early June. Both Acting and Performance students also take the stage at our mid-year showcase in January. These performances are a highlight of the year — a chance for your child to share their growth and shine in front of the people who matter most.
-
Teen Theatre classes do not have a guaranteed makeup option, so we highly encourage regular attendance whenever possible — consistency is key to your child's growth and confidence as a performer. That said, we understand that life happens. If a class of the same or lower level has availability, a makeup may be offered pending teacher approval. If you know you'll be missing a class, we simply ask that you let your teacher know.

We make weather-related decisions as early as possible so that families have as much notice as we can give. Cancellations are announced via email, social media, our website and on WMUR. Make-up options will always be offered for weather cancellations — we will be in touch to schedule.
“BYPC is an excellent all-around performing arts training center. My daughter has grown leaps and bounds in her dancing and acting abilities through their high caliber instructors and small class sizes.”
