Billing Policies

  • On the first of each month we will be charging your tuition. You will receive an email receipt. You may check your account at any time by accessing your parent portal. If you have not set up your parent portal check out this video for instructions. Let us know if we can help.

  • BYPC has an annual registration fee of $40 for an individual or $75 for a family.

  • Your annual tuition charge is prorated to your start date and then charged in equal monthly installments.

  • Our installments start in September or your start month. The equal monthly installments continue to June 1. Please note that your tuition is divided into equal installments which will not always correlate to the number of weeks in a month.

  • You are not charged for vacation weeks or holidays.

  • Every new registrant is offered a two week paid trial period. You may withdraw your registration during this paid two week period at no additional cost. If you choose to register after the two week trial period BYPC will charge your registration fee and your first tuition installment.

  • If your situation changes once you are registered and you are no longer able to enjoy your BYPC class or lesson you may drop with a four week notice. You may provide your notice by sending an email to bypc@bypc.org. Registration, tuition and production fees are non-refundable.

Make-Up Policies

Snow Days

  • All classes and lessons (excluding Creative Kids Preschool) will be offered online at their scheduled time in the case of a snow day. No further make-ups will be offered.

Creative Kids

  • Creative Kids Preschool will only cancel in the case of a snow day. There are no make-up days for snow days. Check your seesaw account for online resources during snow days.

Dance, Performance, Acting, Kindermusik and Group Voice Classes

  • If a class is canceled by BYPC due to a teacher absence, etc., a make-up will be offered on either a weekend or a holiday break during the 2023/2024 BYPC Season.

  • If a student misses a class due to outside activities, conflicts or illness, there are no make-up options offered.

Private Music Lessons

Student Absences:

• Private music lesson students are allowed a total of two (2) make-ups peryear for student cancellations. Students registering mid-year - after January 2024 - are entitled to one (1) make-up per year.

• All student make-up lessons will be scheduled during our Summer Session between June - August 2024.

• Special requests to reschedule missed lessons due to emergency or unusual family circumstances must be made through BYPC administration – not directly through the teacher.

  • If a student is forced to miss a lesson due to quarantine for COVID-19 symptoms or a positive test, an online option will be offered for that lesson.

    • Online lesson options will ONLY be offered due to quarantine - no online options will be offered due to travel, outside activities or personal preferences.

Teacher Cancellations:

• Teacher absences or lessons canceled by BYPC will be rescheduled by the teacher.

-Teachers will make a conscientious effort to offer students schedule alternatives based upon their enrollment load and availability. This may include school vacation weeks and weekends.

• Missed make-up lessons will not be rescheduled and are forfeited.

• Students withdrawing before the end of the school year forfeit all make-ups.

• There will be no tuition refunds or credits for missed music lessons.
