BYPC is an official Leap 'N Learn licensed dance studio, which means we bring the best possible movement education to all of our students in a welcoming, encouraging environment. Leap 'N Learn focuses on pre-ballet and ballet, yet students in this internationally renowned program learn so much more than just how to dance. Developed by master teacher Beverly F. Spell and child psychologist Dr. Annie Spell, Leap 'N Learn follows the natural progression of movement that is safest for young dancers and utilizes proven theories of child development. In age-appropriate class levels, Leap 'N Learn also helps students develop motor, cognitive, and social skills by capitalizing on naturally occurring cognitive, neural, and physical development. This all works to create a solid dance program that prepares students for all types of later life roles!
Leap 'N Learn, Little Leapers, Pre-Ballet, and Ballet Classes
The Leap 'N Learn philosophy is integrated into all of our dance classes. We apply the principles of Leap 'N Learn to benefit both students starting and advancing in their dance training. Our Little Leapers, Leap 'N Learn and Ballet I classes for younger students are most closely tied to the Leap 'N Learn program as it introduces children to a classroom setting, builds a strong foundation for future dancing, and sparks a real interest in moving and learning.
Little Leapers - Ballet for the 2 Year Old
What makes this Leap 'N Learn stand out as a premiere program for 2 year old dance is a deep understanding of the progression of movement and the application of proven early childhood development methods throughout the curriculum. Students only work on exercises for which they are physically and mentally ready. Tuition is all inclusive - including class and costume fees. Child must turn 2 by Oct. 31

Classes are designed to meet the cognitive, physical, social, and emotional developmental needs of three and four year olds. Leap N Learn dance classes are an introduction to class environment, body movement, pretend play, and spatial awareness through creative movement and pre-ballet exercises using the Leap 'N Learn curriculum. Tuition is all inclusive - including class and costume fees. Child must turn 3 by Oct. 31

Students are introduced to basic French terminology of ballet terms as they continue to focus on pre-ballet, creative movement, and pretend play using the Leap 'N Learn curriculum. This next level of Leap N Learn Ballet classes at BYPC continues to build dance skills fit to the age-appropriate developmental stages of students ages 4-6 as they follow their dreams of becoming prima ballerinas, make friends, grow, and have fun! Tuition is all inclusive - including class and costume fees. Child must turn 4 by Oct. 31
